Terms of use

Last updated: 1 November 2026.

Who runs Brickkeep

Brickkeep is run by Joeri Weitmann. Contact: joeriweitmann24@gmail.com.

These terms apply when you use Brickkeep. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. The privacy page explains how your data is handled.

The service

Brickkeep helps you keep track of your LEGO® parts and where you store them. It is free. If paid features or advertising are ever added, you will be told beforehand, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

Your account

You need an account to use the app. Use an email address that is yours, and keep your email and sign-in method safe, because anyone with access to them can use your account.

You must be 13 or older to create an account. For anyone younger, a parent or guardian has to create and manage the account.

Your data and photos

Your inventory stays yours. You allow Brickkeep to store, process and show it only as far as needed to run the service for you.

Only upload photos you are allowed to use, and keep people and anything personal out of frame. Photos go to Brickognize for recognition under its own terms, which give it a perpetual licence to them. See the privacy page.

Fair use

Don't use Brickkeep to break the law. Don't attack or overload it, get around its limits, try to reach other people's data, or resell the service.

To keep Brickkeep free, limits apply, such as how many photos you can scan per day and how many bricks an account can hold.

Recognition and part data

Recognition can be wrong, and part data can contain errors, so check the result yourself. Brickkeep is an independent project. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this site.

Availability and backups

Brickkeep is offered free and as it is, without a promise that it will always work or stay available. Features can change.

Export your inventory regularly, because data can be lost. If Brickkeep is going to stop, you will be told in advance where reasonably possible, so that you can export it.

Liability

As far as the law allows, Brickkeep is not liable for indirect damage or for lost data.

This does not limit liability for intent, gross negligence, death or injury, or any right consumer law gives you that cannot be waived.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time. Deleting your account in Settings permanently removes your account and inventory.

An account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms can be suspended or deleted, with notice where reasonably possible.

Changes to these terms

A new version appears here with a new date. You will be told about significant changes before they apply, by email or in the app. If you don't agree, you can export your inventory and delete your account.

Law and complaints

Belgian law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protection of the country where you live, and you can go to the courts there. For questions or complaints, use the contact address above.
