Who runs Brickkeep
Brickkeep is run by Joeri Weitmann. Contact: joeriweitmann24@gmail.com.
What is stored
Your account: your email address and a sign-in identifier from WorkOS.
Your inventory: your boxes, and each brick's part, colour, drawer, quantity and any comment you add.
Photos are not stored by Brickkeep. They pass through on their way to the recognition service. Logs record which page was used and its cost, not your address or inventory.
Who else handles your data
Cloudflare hosts the app. The inventory database is restricted to the EU.
WorkOS handles signing in, so it receives your email address and how you sign in. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google learns that you are signing in to Brickkeep and shares your basic profile, such as your name and email address, with WorkOS.
Brickognize recognises bricks in your photos. Its terms give it a perpetual licence to uploaded images, including for training models, and that cannot be withdrawn. Photos are shrunk and stripped of metadata first, so keep anything personal out of frame.
Cookies and local storage
Brickkeep itself uses two cookies: brickkeep_session keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, and brickkeep_login_state protects the sign-in step for up to 10 minutes. The public pages set no cookies. Your browser also keeps a copy of your inventory so the app stays fast, and signing out removes it. Brickkeep sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
Signing in happens on a login page run by WorkOS, which sets its own cookies there. __Host-state, __cf_bm and _cfuvid appear to protect the login. _dd_s (up to a year) and __wuid (up to 60 days) appear to be for monitoring or recognising visitors, and their purpose has not been confirmed. That page also contacts error-reporting and telemetry services.
Brickkeep does not control what WorkOS sets on its login page.
How long it is kept
Your account and inventory stay until you delete them. Deleting your account in Settings removes them permanently, here and at WorkOS.
Your rights
You can see, correct, export and delete your data yourself in the app. For anything else, or to complain, use the contact address above. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
